Every Cinema Sanctum Encounter begins with a conversation.
The host brings together the people and creates the physical setting in which the Encounter can take place.
The Cinema Sanctum selects the work in conversation with the host, develops the programme, and conducts the Encounter from beginning to end.
The setting may differ—from a university or arts institution to a private community or cultural gathering—but the principle remains the same:
the work is given adequate conditions in which to be seen, heard and encountered.
We work with small groups and develop each Encounter in relation to its particular context.
